That Thing You Do (Intro)

The very first time i received this bookmark, I immediately asked for more to give to my friends. It reminded me so much of the retreats/camps i've been to where, before anything else, we set all concerns aside and meet in the morning to study His Word. And then... it made me think.. why wait for another retreat or another camp to study His Word together? Why let distance or time or "different schedules" stop us from meeting to know more of the God whose devotion to us cannot be questioned at all? Yes, it's important to have our "alone" time with Him but it's also important to be in constant fellowship with other believers who we could serve hand in hand with.

 (trust me, it makes everything else so much easier) :) 

It's why i've decided to commit to following this Reading Plan (picture above) as i write my thoughts, my notes and my revelations on this blog everyday for the next 21 days, starting tomorrow (Aug 9, 2012) before 10am in the morning.. as if we're just talking face to face. 

(It's pretty much a challenge for me.. not just the writing part but mostly for the "morning" part. Lol) 

So to the girls i've invited to do this with me.. i pray that despite the storm, despite the flood, despite the busyness of your schedules, despite the time & the distance, despite anything else.... that you'd take 10-20 minutes/day for the next 21 days, in whatever time you're most comfortable doing it (though mornings would be better *wink*) to commit to following this reading plan and to walk with me as we journey together in deepening our relationship with Jesus.
