That thing you do: Day 9

Acts 2:42-47

Family. We all long for family. We all long for that "home" we can always rest in when exhausted. The "church" is our family. We are the body of Christ. God is the head of our home. We are family. 

                                                        Siblings. 

On my previous post, i quoted "We can serve God for ourselves, but never BY ourselves." When i went to the States, I wanted to take a break from ministry. I didn't want to sing. I wanted to see if i could survive not making music while I was there. Well, God told me otherwise. He opened doors for me and made me a part of the music team in Vegas. In no time at all, I fell in love with the people there. It was such an honor to be able to serve God with them. People you can trust. People you can completely be silly with. People you can make music with for His 

glory!

Then I came home to the Philippines. I got to serve again at Helping Hands, Ministries. People who loved serving God through taking care of kids, too! I was so happy! Then I went back to Manila and was so thrilled to see my Victory Makati Family again! Praise and Worship feels so much better when you hear other voices singing to the Lord with you!

What am I trying to say? We were all called to serve God TOGETHER. Not just when we're in the confines of a building we hold services in. We are a church- the Body of Christ. We walk together, run together, help each other, serve together. And i'm actually glad it is the way it is. Why? Cause i can never imagine running this race alone :)
