James 5:13-20 

"The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much..."

So many times already have i heard the line "Wala na tayong magagawa.. Pray nalang."

I don't like this line. We often underestimate the power of prayer. Prayer should not be our last resort. It should be a lifestyle to us. 

Prayer is our most powerful weapon against anything and/or anyone.

"Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain; and it did not rain on the land for three years and six months. And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the rain produced its fruit." 

Whatever happens at whatever time of day, wherever we are and no matter how hopeless our situation might be, we should never stop praying.. 

God knows what we're going through. And He is more concerned about our own concerns than we are. 

When we pray, we should be confident... because we are praying to a God who saves. A God who heals. A God who listens. A God who doesn't even need to do these for us, but chooses to because He WANTS to. He wants to come through for us and 

He wants to come to our rescue. 

So don't be afraid to PRAY.
